In today’s difficult insurance market, working with the quoting carrier to minimize risk is often the best way to keep the business relationship in tact. An agent with a close relationship with the carrier has the ability to communicate and mediate between the insured and the insurer, and this communication is the best path to a good result for both the client and the carrier.
